Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative. You will begin with a short safari overview before beginning the scenic drive to Amboseli National Park via Namanga the Kenya –Tanzania border. This park is nestled on the slopes of Africa’s highest snow-capped mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will arrive in time for lunch. You will be astonished by your ability to get up close to the ranging elephants here-something this park is famous for! On a clear day, you’ll also be treated to breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro which is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with your private guide giving you the chance to view and photograph the Big 5 which include the Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant till dusk. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today you will spend a full day in this beautiful park with morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch and dinner included. Amboseli National Park is 260 km (160 mi) south of Nairobi, on the Kenya and Tanzania border. A system of swamps is what makes this low-rainfall area one of the best wildlife-viewing experiences in the world! The park protects two of the five main swamps, and includes a dried-up Pleistocene lake and semi-arid vegetation. You will understand why Amboseli is the third most visited game area in Kenya after a day of being stunned by its abundance of wild animals and spectacular showing of elephants. Return to the lodge for relaxed dinner and overnight.

Breakfast then depart via the lively city of Nairobi to Mount Kenya National Park. Mount Kenya (5,199 m) is Kenya’s highest mountain, a national icon, a climbers’ Mecca, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site and a wildlife stronghold. One of the world’s highest National Parks, it is also an extinct volcano some three and a half million years old and the sacred home of Ngai, God of the Kikuyu people. The misty northern heights of Mount Kenya are now in your reach, thanks to the newly-paved highway from Nairobi. Could there be a better location to view Kenya’s exotic animals? Meals and overnight at the lodge.

The privately owned, 24,000 acre, Sweetwaters game reserve and chimpanzee sanctuary has an abundance of wildlife and tropical vegetation and offers unparalleled views across the bush to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. It boasts all of the “Big 5” game – Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo. It is in this beauty-saturated location that you will take a game drive until dusk. Meals and overnight at camp or lodge. Meal plan FB.

After breakfast, depart for Thomson’s Falls which Joseph Thomson, the first European to walk from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the early 1880’s, named for his father. You’ll stop briefly to take in the scenic falls, then proceed to drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Here, you will be amazed by the picturesque flocks of pink flamingos decorating the lake’s border. This park also provides sanctuary of Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino and the elusive leopard. Arrive in time for lunch. After freshening up and a short rest, have an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge after enjoying the ever-captivating, vividly colored sunset. Enjoy dinner and overnight at camp or lodge. Meal plan FB.

You will have a morning game drive. In the late-morning, you will head off to the
Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve has recently been named one of the Seven Wonders of the World, due to the crossing of the River Mara by the thousands and thousands of wildebeest, a truly impressive sight to behold.

Enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive till dusk. Masai Mara is at the northern most extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife game reserves, allowing you to see plenty of majestic animals up close! Dinner and overnight at camp.

Masai Mara is named after the traditional inhabitants (Masai) and the Mara River. At some point during your stay in the Mara, you’ll drive by the river which is a great place to spot wildlife. This area is a photographer’s delight where with any luck you’ll be able to take amazing pictures of the hippos and elephants in the water. Spend a full day at the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives in search of the ‘big 5’. Masai Mara is home to the splendid black–maned lion, the elusive leopard, stately giraffe, vast bulk of elephants, rhino, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other game. The small size funnels animals into a tight space, and park rules allow for off-road driving which means that guests can venture into plains covered with hundreds or even thousands of animals. Take an optional hot air balloon ride over the plains, with the opportunity for amazing pictures of the animal herds below. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
