On a clear day, you’ll also be treated to breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro which is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with your private guide giving you the chance to view and photograph the Big 5 which include the Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant till dusk. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 AMBOSELI

Today you will spend a full day in this beautiful park with morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch and dinner included. Amboseli National Park is 260 km (160 mi) south of Nairobi, on the Kenya and Tanzania border. A system of swamps is what makes this low-rainfall area one of the best wildlife-viewing experiences in the world! The park protects two of the five main swamps, and includes a dried-up Pleistocene lake and semi-arid vegetation. You will understand why Amboseli is the third most visited game area in Kenya after a day of being stunned by its abundance of wild animals and spectacular showing of elephants. Return to the lodge for relaxed dinner and overnight.

One of the world’s highest National Parks, it is also an extinct volcano some three and a half million years old and the sacred home of Ngai, God of the Kikuyu people. The misty northern heights of Mount Kenya are now in your reach, thanks to the newly-paved highway from Nairobi. Could there be a better location to view Kenya’s exotic animals? Meals and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 4 SWEETWATERS GAME RESERVE

The privately owned, 24,000 acre, Sweetwaters game reserve and chimpanzee sanctuary has an abundance of wildlife and tropical vegetation and offers unparalleled views across the bush to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. DAY 6 LAKE NAKURU / MASAI MARA

You will have a morning game drive. In the late-morning, you will head off to the
Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve has recently been named one of the Seven Wonders of the World, due to the crossing of the River Mara by the thousands and thousands of wildebeest, a truly impressive sight to behold.

Enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive till dusk. Masai Mara is at the northern most extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife game reserves, allowing you to see plenty of majestic animals up close! Dinner and overnight at camp.

DAY 7, 8 & 9: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Masai Mara is named after the traditional inhabitants (Masai) and the Mara River. At some point during your stay in the Mara, you’ll drive by the river which is a great place to spot wildlife. This area is a photographer’s delight where with any luck you’ll be able to take amazing pictures of the hippos and elephants in the water. Spend a full day at the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives in search of the ‘big 5’. Masai Mara is home to the splendid black–maned lion, the elusive leopard, stately giraffe, vast bulk of elephants, rhino, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other game. The small size funnels animals into a tight space, and park rules allow for off-road driving which means that guests can venture into plains covered with hundreds or even thousands of animals. Take an optional hot air balloon ride over the plains, with the opportunity for amazing pictures of the animal herds below. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
